Which district serves my address?
In Georgia, the school that serves a home follows district lines, not town lines. A few Northeast Georgia cities, Jefferson and Buford among them, run their own districts while the county around them runs another. Address, county, and district are the three things to check for any home you are serious about.
What is here, and what is not
This guide lists the real districts, the named schools, and the community highlights that do not change from year to year. It does not quote enrollment counts or test rankings: those figures change, and a school story is better told by visiting, asking neighbors, and checking the district directly.
School lines meet home lines
The district boundary is part of every home search in these towns, and it is one of the first questions Michelle asks when a buyer names a school they want. The answer is usually simple: a phone call and a couple of street names.

Hall County · Hall County Schools
Flowery Branch
Hall County School District serves Flowery Branch and the surrounding county from its base in Gainesville. The core feeder runs from Flowery Branch Elementary to C. W. Davis Middle to Flowery Branch High, while other county campuses such as West Hall and Cherokee Bluff may serve a home depending on its address.

Braselton
Braselton crosses four county lines, so four public districts serve it, and the zoned school depends on which part of town a home sits in. The Jackson County side feeds West Jackson Elementary, West Jackson Middle, and Jackson County High; the Gwinnett side sits in the Mill Creek cluster; Hall County feeds Cherokee Bluff; and the Barrow County side feeds Winder-Barrow High.

Hoschton
Hoschton straddles the Jackson and Gwinnett county line. The Jackson County side is served by schools that sit right in town: Heroes and West Jackson elementary schools, Legacy Knoll Middle, and Jackson County High. The Gwinnett County side feeds the Mill Creek cluster at Duncan Creek Elementary, Osborne Middle, and Mill Creek High.
